How Our Escrow Works
Agreement
Buyer and seller agree on terms. Buyer initiates purchase through the platform.
Payment
Buyer deposits funds into secure escrow. Funds are held safely by Mini Apps Market.
Transfer
Seller transfers all agreed assets (domain, code, hosting, etc.) to the buyer.
Verification
Buyer verifies all assets are received and functioning as described.
Release
Upon buyer confirmation, funds are released to seller (minus 5% commission).
1. What is Escrow?
Escrow is a financial arrangement where a third party (Mini Apps Market) holds and regulates payment of funds between two parties (buyer and seller). This ensures both parties fulfill their obligations before the transaction is completed.
Protection Guarantee: Buyers are protected because funds are only released when they confirm receipt of all assets. Sellers are protected because they know the buyer has deposited the agreed amount.
2. Escrow Timeline
Standard Timeline
- Payment deposit: Immediate
- Asset transfer: 3-7 business days
- Verification period: 5-14 days
- Fund release: 1-3 business days
Verification Period
Buyers have 5-14 days (depending on transaction size) to verify all assets. During this time, buyers should:
- • Verify domain ownership transfer
- • Test app functionality
- • Confirm hosting access
- • Review documentation
3. Escrow Fees
There are no additional escrow fees. The 5% platform commission covers all escrow services, including:
- Secure fund holding
- Asset transfer assistance
- Dispute mediation
- Transaction support
- Documentation and records
4. Buyer Responsibilities
As a buyer in an escrow transaction, you must:
- Deposit the full agreed amount within 48 hours of initiating the purchase
- Respond promptly to transfer verification requests
- Thoroughly verify all received assets within the verification period
- Confirm receipt or report issues before the verification deadline
- Cooperate with the platform during any dispute resolution
Important: If you do not report issues within the verification period, funds will be automatically released to the seller.
5. Seller Responsibilities
As a seller in an escrow transaction, you must:
- Begin asset transfer within 48 hours of buyer's payment deposit
- Transfer all assets as described in the listing
- Provide clear documentation for all transferred items
- Assist the buyer with any technical transfer issues
- Maintain app functionality until transfer is complete
- Respond promptly to buyer questions during verification
6. Dispute Resolution
If issues arise during the transaction, our dispute resolution process ensures fair outcomes:
- Initial Report: Either party can report an issue through the platform
- Evidence Collection: Both parties submit documentation and evidence
- Mediation: Our team attempts to mediate a resolution
- Investigation: If mediation fails, we conduct a thorough investigation
- Decision: We issue a binding decision within 10 business days
- Resolution: Funds are released according to the decision
7. Cancellation Policy
Before Asset Transfer
If the seller has not begun asset transfer, either party may request cancellation. Funds will be returned to the buyer minus any payment processing fees.
After Asset Transfer Begins
Once asset transfer has begun, cancellation requires mutual agreement or dispute resolution. Partial transfers may result in partial refunds.
8. Fund Security
All escrowed funds are:
- Held in secure, segregated accounts
- Protected by bank-level encryption
- Never used for platform operations
- Fully auditable and compliant with regulations
